ENGLISH

The extent to which English has spread in India is truly marvelous. It possesses a veritable power of expression and so we provide the students an opportunity to improve their reading, writing and speaking skills by giving enough information about this living lively language viz grammer, spelling, pronunciation, its appreciation and improving vocabulary which help the students to develop self-confidence and abiding courage to be a upright technical person with a superb communicating skill. It also helps to build a charming personality.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

The man of today is living in the age of interplanetary space travels. He finds himself in a rapidly changing and amazing complex world. Social Science enable him to deal intelligently with the problems, he is facing today and will face in the future. It deal with man and his interaction with other people, with institutions and with goods and services. The over all objective is the development of a well informed, intelligent person. Who is aware of current problems and keen to accept responsibilities as a citizen for the welfare of all. This objective also includes the development of mind, Skill and moral qualities, which are aos essential in a demoratic society.

ECONOMICS

We give due emphasis to the teaching of economics to our students keeping in mind the present trend of liberalization, privatization and globalization in India. So that in the process of our economic growth our engineers can contribute their services in its right way.
The syllabus includes the knowledge about micro and other basic knowledge of economics such as - banking, inter-national trade, industries, public finance, Economic development and growth are also included. The basic aim is to improve the managerial competence and decision making capabilities of the budding Engineers.

MANAGEMENT

As the engineers have to work in the managerial positions, the object of teaching management is to improve the managerial competence of the students. The syllabus of the subject includes the basic knowledge of the principles of management, financial managment, material management, human resource management and marketing and sales management.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY

Language is an abstract set of Psychological principles based on the Social condition in which the man finds himself. It is a system of rules which link meaning and sound sequences. A man must achievecommunicative in order to convey his meaning to other human being with this as its basic aim the department of Humanities and Social Sciences has established a language laboratory through which training in respect of phonetics and phonology is provided to the students. So that their spoken skills of English Language is improved.
