 The department of Computer Technology is headed by Prof. I.C. Mehta. This Department is equipped with the latest computing facilities that include six computer centers housing a battery of about 300 computers. These are backed by relevant software, which help the students to implement their innovative and creative ideas into real time technical projects. The students are also provided with low-cost-access to the Internet.
The students are also exposed to various specialized fields like Software Development and Design, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, etc. The Department also organize an Annual Software Exhibition that enables the students to display their latent talents The orientation of the program is towards grooming the students into becoming leaders in various areas of Computer Science ranging from Software Engineering to computer Design and from Systems Analysis to the Management of Information Systems. The subjects covered here are Computer Network and Graphics, Computer Architecture and Organization, Operating Systems, Object Oriented Methodology, Systems Software, Database Management System, E-Commerce, Web Technology, Artificial Intelligence, etc. |
