UNDER GRADUATE COURSE The Department of Architecture is headed by Prof.Shashank  Chakradeo . The Department was established in the year 1987 as a logical extension of the policy of the Gondia Education Society viz. to provide facility of good technical education to the students of the backward regions of Vidarbha. The objective was to train and produce academically and practically well equipped architects who would be capable of participating in the building activity of the region. The course, like all other architecture courses, is of five years duration and is affiliated to the Nagpur University. It is also recognised by the AICTE and Council of Architecture, the apex statutory body regulating the architectural profession and education in the country. The emphasis of the program is to train students to excel in the field of their choice, may it be higher education, teaching or practice. The Department, therefore strives to dish out a well balanced curriculum with optimum amounts of academic and practical doses!

Ever since the first batch of students graduated from this Department in the year 1992, about three hundred students have metamorphosed into architects. A majority of them have set up their own private practice, while other have joined private & public sector undertakings, still others have undertaken post-graduate studies in architecture and other fields, both, in india and abroad.
