Prof. Sanjay Asati is a Faculty Advisor Coordinator of the ISTE-Students chapter. The chapter was installed in the year 2003 to formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education and to cultivate fraternal spirit amongst the students. The chapter presently has over 300 active members with a dynamic executive body consisting of a Chairman, Secretary, treasurer and others.
The ISTE-Students chapter organizes various events in an attempt to improve the soft skills and technical knowledge. It brings about effective linkage between technical education, industry and society.
This chapter conducts activities such as inter-collegiate debate competition, technical quiz competition, extempore, workshops etc. on a regular basis. The chapter has successfully organized the annual state convention in 2005.
Under the aegis of this chapter, the students are promoted to represent the institution by participation in the events like conferences, symposium, workshops etc. held in various colleges and universities.
The chapter carries out an industry visit every year. In the recent years the students were benefited with the guest lecture by eminent personalities on Industry/Institute Partnership, Personality Development, Communication and Body language etc...
