The Institute pays special attention to the sports and games. The Institute has very good play ground and facilities for sports and games like Cricket, Basket ball, Hockey, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis etc. The Institute has a very well maintained Gymnasium.
The Institute has gained a reputation for preparing and encouraging good sportsmen. Many students has represented the University and State in various sports and games. A few students of the institute have excelled and became National Level Sportsmen.
